Reminder: Manchester Flames Uniform Policy

By Joe Proulx, 07/30/16, 10:30PM EDT

When the Flames announced in 2014 their shift from a primarily red uniform to one that is primarily black, they allowed for a two-year transition period, targeting full adoption of the black uniform color scheme in the fall of 2016.

Don't look now, but it's almost the fall of 2016.

With that in mind, here are the uniform expectations for ALL Flames travel players (Mite through Bantam) for this season onwards:

  • Black helmet (red or white helmets no longer allowed)

  • Black gloves (or custom Flames Black/Red gloves)

  • Black Bauer Flames pant shells (provided by the Flames, to be returned)

  • Home and Away Flames jerseys (provided by the Flames, to be returned)

  • Home and Away Flames socks (provided by the Flames, need not be returned)

With the two-year transition period complete, the expectation is that all Flames players will abide by the above uniform policy starting this season.

Note: Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, Rec, U16, U18, and U19 teams are exempt from the uniform policy.
