After staring the season with a loss the Manchester Flames Squirt Select team has been on a roll. During the first GSL weekend the team went 1-0-1, and this past weekend they were set to play in the Holy Name Ice Breaker tournament in Springfield, MA. It was a great team experience including a team dinner and a trip to the Basketball Hall of Fame for some quality team time. The team handled pool play with a 3-0 record and were set to play an equally matched Holy Name squirt team. At the end of regulation it was 2-2. In overtime, Christopher Gagnon sealed the victory and sent the Flames team home with the championship by a score of 3-2!
