The Manchester Flames have a rich history spanning over 55 years as one of the largest youth hockey organizations in NH. Throughout the years NHL players like Jeff Giuliano, Hubie McDonough, Jeff Serowi, Tim Schaller, Jon Rheault (Providence College / AHL Monarchs/ NHL / currently in Germany/Europe Pro) and most recently Zach Sanford began and ended their youth career within the program.
Many Div I collegiate standouts such as JD Dudek (Boston College), Steve Maturo (Air Force), Mike Maturo (Dartmouth), Ty Korbl (Brown), Chad Boucher (Dartmouth), Ryan Mailhot (Merrimack), Greg Dumont (UNH), Steve Hermsdorf (Harvard), and many more all spent their youth hockey with the Flames as well as current Quinnipiac coach Rand Pecknold
Notably, current Flames coaches and former Europe Pro / Division 1 Collegiate Players like CJ Ficek (UNH), Brian Larochelle (UNH), Kyle McDonough (UVM), Division II/III stars like Jeremy Baker, Brent Boucher, and Troy Spencer, all remain within the Manchester Flames program today, as coaches.
Skating
Professional Skills sessions will be run bi weekly. The season will kick off with 4 days of skating instruction followed by an additional skill session every other week thru November.

Practice planning
For the first 12 weeks, each team will get:

For the balance of the season, each team will get:
**All travel teams Squirt -Bantams will get 30 minutes of Full Ice EVERY WEEK. ***
Full / Split Practice: Two teams will share a 110 or 120 minute sheets of ice. One team starts the practice alone for 30 minutes at which time the second team will join them in a split ice format for 20 - 30 minutes. The First team will then leave and the second team will have the last 30 minutes of full ice.
Teams may participate in a combined 40+ games, including league games, Tournaments and Parity in the spring for the EHF.
